personal statement

This is my first time to participate in a group work. Compared with the previous assignments, it is a little bit difficult for me to adapt to the group. This does not mean that I could not work within a group, I thought the problem is that our group lack of communication. My team members are very professional and passionate. Firstly, before we start the group work, we decided to set up a group chat on message, which is convenient for us to communicate and make an appointment for discussing. Besides, we chose a group leader who assigned tasks of each members clearly. As a good group leader, Thomas did well in this part. Also, he arranged group discussion. For my work, the task of mine was to record a video at the beginning. However, because of my bad memories, I could not remember the whole sentence. And the leader changed my task to figure out the social media strategy, then he recorded the video instead of me. I felt a little bit depressed, but I appreciate him so much! I still tried my best to do the new task. And it was so appreciate for me to have a professional group leader. Then, for the social media strategy part, I write it for the first time. When I finished it and sent it to the group chat, Thomas said I was misunderstood the requirements, what I wrote is not about the strategy. Then I rewrote it as soon as possible, from a different perspective. I did enjoy the process when I changed to judge one thing from a different perspective and challenge myself. However, the results depressed me a lot. I have tried, and I did some mistake. As a good leader is to promote group discussion, and encourage each other. Thomas did good job! A group work needs the efforts of each members, Anyway, the results showed at the end is a perfect work.I also want to appreciate Alice,Yuan,they always encourage me a lot to make me more confident.

I used to work as a part-time editor to write content for official social media account, but I really want to challenge myself in academic area. And I am interested in films when I have spare time. This is a reason why I joined this group with the film topic. The task of our group is to promote and introduce the films website. This is kind of marketing and advertising work for media. Under the convergence of the world, mess media could not only meet the requirement of the film market. Besides, with the overwhelming spread of social media platform, the influence of social media is expanding. The influence of social media is huge, not only the pictures, texts, and videos, because it is distribued, not only can browse, but also comment, forward, and increase the exposure.(Candy.L.2006).

So, for my part, my responsivity is to analyze the social media strategy to promote the film website. During the process, I wanted to interact with our users through ins. Through their messages, we will give timely responses. Most users include young people. I like to interact with the social platform, but it doesn't seem to satisfy the requirements, because I didn't do my part well, I will not give up because of this failure. When I am working on the next group, I will do as much as I can, make more contributions to this group, and communicate more with everyone.

We did clear division of labor and very strong teamawareness.I look forward to work together in next time.
